PA DEP Proclaims 2025 Environmental Training Grant Spherical – Cyber Tech

The 2025 Environmental Training Grant Spherical, program managed by the Pennsylvania Division of Environmental Safety, opened on August 9, 2024.

This system will fund the event of progressive formal and non-formal environmental training tasks that: 1) Tackle grant program priorities; 2) Present alternatives to increase the general public’s understanding of Pennsylvania’s environmental points; and three) Develop abilities required to make knowledgeable selections and take accountable motion on behalf of the atmosphere.

Program Priorities

Initiatives should handle a number of program priorities: Water, Local weather Change, and Environmental Justice.

• Water – Teaching programs selling efficient methods to scale back non-point supply and supply water air pollution to enhance water high quality.
• Local weather Change – Training tasks that promote sensible options for lowering greenhouse fuel emissions and the destructive impacts of local weather change together with floods, adjustments to groundwater, pests, illness, agricultural disruptions, and potential threats to human well being.

Grant Award Quantities

Funding is offered for non-formal training (tasks exterior of the formal, PreK-12 faculty/larger training setting) or Formal training (tasks built-in into the formal, PreK-12 faculty/larger training curriculums). Two varieties of awards can be found:

• Mini Grants – of as much as $5,000 could also be awarded for native (faculty, county, municipality or different outlined space) environmental training tasks. Mini grants are strongly inspired, however not required, to type venture partnerships and embody a venture match (Money or In-Form).
