French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Belief has finalized a voluntary conservation settlement with long-time Chester County resident Julia Kirlin and her granddaughter Allison Manley to guard in perpetuity 55 acres in North Coventry Township. This property sits alongside a mixed-oak forested ridgeline, options wetland meadows, and lies close to the headwaters of Pigeon Creek, making it an ecologically beneficial parcel for land and water safety efforts. This website additionally serves as an vital connector between the 700+ acre Coventry Woods Protect in North Coventry and the 200+ acre Woody’s Woods in South Coventry. Each are important parts of the 73,000-acre Hopewell Huge Woods, the biggest in-tact forest in southeastern Pennsylvania.
