Boys Soccer: Clippers Shut Out Windfall, 6-0 – Cyber Tech

Sturgeon Bay’s boys soccer crew performed its closing regular-season residence sport of the season Thursday when the Clippers shut out Windfall Academy in Packerland Convention motion, 6-0.

Sturgeon Bay, which led 3-0 at halftime, obtained two targets from Finn Stevenson and single scores from Kayden Klotz, Jackson Starr, Will Estes and Justin Gutierrez. Gutierrez, whose traditional place is goalkeeper, performed on offense and scored his first varsity purpose ever.

Clippers Seeded No. 2

Sturgeon Bay has acquired a No. 2 seed for the WIAA Division 4 boys soccer event, which begins later this month.

The Clippers will host a regional semifinal Oct. 24 towards the winner of the Oct. 22 quarterfinal between No. 15-seeded New Holstein and No. 18-seeded Gresham/Bowler.

Ought to Sturgeon Bay win its semifinal, it could host the regional title sport Oct. 26 towards the winner of the Oct. 24 semifinal between No. 7-seeded Howards Grove/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah and No. 10-seeded St. Mary Catholic.
